Trade Negotiations at Delicate Stage MR. LYONS SILENT By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright CANBERRA, April 23. Tho “Sun” correspondent says that grave doubts are now held by the Government that the trade treaty negotiations with Japan will reach a satisfactory conclusion. Cabinet is now discussing the position. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. J. A. Lyons, beyond saying that the negotiations had reached a very delicate stage, declined to comment. Senator Sir George Pearce, Leader of the Government in the Senate, informed the House that the Government would make an early announcement regarding Japanese trade, including rayon importations. Tho whole question will bo debated by Parliament.
