GUARANTEED PRICES

To Be Fixed By Order-In-Council .By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 22. “The actual guaranteed price to be paid to dairy farmers will not be fixed in the projected Bill,” said the Prime Minister, the Hon. M. J. Savage, in an interview to-night. “Provision is made for the actual price to be paid by the Government to be fixed from time to time by Order-in-Council. In the main the measure provides machinery for payment of a price for dairy produce which will cover costs of production and, in addition, allow the producer reasonable living expenses.” The Bill was now practically completed, and would be ready for introduction in the House some time next week. ,
