CUTTY SARK’S FUTURE
No Plans Made Yet (By Air Mail.) WEYMOUTH, March 24. No plans have yet been made for the future of the famous sailing ship Cutty Sark, following the death of her owner, Captain W. H. Dowman. Mrs Dowman, who lives at Wyke Lodge, Weymouth, s aid to-day:— “There is nothiij; I can say nt tho moment. I have decided nothing. The Cutty Sark will remain nt Falmouth until I consider what can bo done.” The Cutty Sark, which was launched in 1869, won fame as a tea clipper in the China trade and as n wool clipper in the Australian trade.
