Bishop Bennett to Attend IBy Telegraph-Press Assoclatbw.l ROTORUA, April 23The Rt. Rev. F. A. Bennett, Bishop of Aotearoa, has been invited by the Archbishop of Sydney to attend the celebrations in connection with the Bishop Broughton centenary.- Bishop Broughton was the first Anglican bishop to visit New Zealand. He conducted the first confirmation service for the Maori people at the Bay of Islands in 1839 Bishop Bennett has accepted the invitation and he leaves Wellington for Sydney on May 15. The celebrations will continue until June 7. Several bishops from other parts of the world are attending, including Bishop Hilliard, of Nelson. Bishop Matsui, of Tokio, a bishop from Jerusalem and bishops and leading clerics from England.
