Nominees for Committees ELECTIONS NEXT WEDNESDAY Nominations for primary school committees throughout Hawke’s Bay, in instances where school rolls exceeded 240 at the end of the 1935 school year, were received by the chairmen of committees last evening. The election of committees is to be held next M ednesda.v evening at 8 o’clock.

The provisions governing the nomination of committees provide that, in the case of all schools whose rolls at the end of the 1935 school year did not exceed 240, nominations may be by word of mouth or in writing at the meetings of householders, which will bo held next Wednesday eve t g. Such schools in Napier are the x’ort Ahuriri and Westshore schools.

The following nominations have been received from primary schools in Hast-

ings : — Hastings West School: Messrs 1. W. Albiston, G. B. Britten, A. E. Brooker, E J- Harvey, L. J. Mackersey, A. Matthews, J. Trumpet, B. W. Treacher, V. H. Colello, V. L. Westerman, L. A. Miller, C. W. Overend, B. Schofield. There are nine committee members to be elected from those thirteen nominations.

Parkvale School: Messrs S. W. Baker, H. Cameron, K. J Davidson, L. .1. histone, W. Jennings, J. 11. Philpott, T. 11. Rapley, 11. L. Spence, and J. Stickland. No election is necessary, ns the exact number required was nominated

Mahora School.—As only nine nominations lor the Mahora School Committee have been received no election will be necessary Mr. C. S. Palmer, who is not seeking re-election, has been replaced by Mr. I'. J. Leicester, who is the only new nominee. The lollowing are the member sof the new committee: Messrs. J. Arrell, G. VV. Brownfi C. Carrell, J E. Hall, S. H. Heigbwa.v, C. .Lassen, h. J. Leicester, A, Wilkie and J Wise.
