MURDER AND SUICIDE
Canadian Policeman VANCOUVER, April 20. Bodies of a Royal Canadian Mounted Police constable named George Whiteman and his secret bride of two months, Lillian Harris, were found in a lodging house room.
The police state that, Whiteman shot the woman and himself after discovering letters from her former husband, who had divorced her two years ago. The letters indicated that she planned to return to her ex-husband.
