Mrs Cordwell, Stratford, who has been holidaying in Napier, has returned home. Mr and Mrs J. P. Moore, Wairoa, have left on a holiday visit to Austialia and Japan. Mrs Wrigley, Havelock North, is the guest of the'Rev. A. Al. and Mrs Niblock, Ormondville. Mrs W. R. Johns has returned to Waitara, after a holiday spent in Taupo and Napier, Miss A. Kemp, Hawera, who has been spending a short holiday in Napier, has returned home. • Mr and Mrs Ivor Phillips, of Timarn, arrived in Napier last evening. They will be taking up residence here. Mrs Crompton Smith, Havelock North, is spending a holiday in New Plymouth, as the guest of Mrs J. S. MeKellar. Lady Evelyn Drummond, wife of the Commodore of the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy, accompanied by Miss Drummond, is on a visit to Napier, and is staying at the Criterion Hotel. Mrs John Kelly, Hastings, and Miss Lucy Andreas, Sydney, who have been spending a fortnight’s holiday in New Plymouth, as the guests of Miss J. McNeill, have returned to Hawke’s Bay. Mr and Mrs L. F. Peach, of Fitzroy Avenue, Hastings, have returned homo after spending three weeks’ holiday in the Wellington province. Miss Margaret Grigor, of Palmerston North, is the guest of Miss Amy Roach, Fitzroy Avenue, Hastings. Mrs A. de Castro, of Hastings, left this morning on a holiday visit to Wellington. Mrs. J. Hogg, of Lyndhurst road, who has been in hospital for the past two months, has now returned to her home.
