CLIVE SOCIAL CLUB

The Clive Social Qub held their weekly “500’’ evening on Tuesday, when a happy time was spent by all present. The prize winners were: Ladies, Miss B. Merritt and Miss T. Pell 1 (equal), Miss Long, 3; men, Mr. V. Anderson and Mr. N. Griffiths 1 (equal), Mr. J. Hollyman 3. Mrs. Hayne and Mr. Arthur Harrison won the lucky numbers. Prizes for the lucky numbers at the last two evenings were donated by Mr. VV. Taylor, to whom the committee extended their thanks. A savoury supper was served by the ladies’ committee at the close of the play.
