FOREIGN AIRCRAFT

Admission to Australia

BRITISH ATTITUDE

(Received 3, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 2.

In connection with the Australian decision to admit American and German aircraft, the director of De Havillands told the Associated Press: “We hope to receive fair' play and that American machines will be obliged to conform to the same standards of airworthiness and meet the same conditions as we have encountered. If Australia wants aeroplanes she cannot get at present from England we will very soon build them.”
