- * Havelock Club Formed ENTHUSIASTIC MEETING Considerable enthusiasm marked the meeting held in Havelock North last evening to discuss the formation of a carpet bowls club, and opinion in favour of the proposal was co keen that not only was the club formed, but actually opened with a series of games played in the pavilion after the meetwere twenty players present, and the meeting elected Mr W. JRoss president. The committee members are Messrs H Tucker, !'• Leicester, H. Hay, and H. Coombe, with Mr W. H Anderson as secretary and treasurer. The membership tee was fixed at five shillings. The club will play club matches on Tuesday and Friday nights, and ordinary play will he allowed on the other nights of the week- 1 o-mght a challenge match will be played against the Kaiamn Oddfellows, and next week the club will meet the Havelock North Foresters. ..
