FAREWELL FUNCTION
Major and Mrs. Goffin To-morrow, in the Salvation Army Hall, Warren street, Hastings, at 8 p.m., a farewell will be given to Major Henry Goffin and Mrs. Goffin,’ of Napier. These officers have taken prominent part in various Salvation Army functions in Hastings during the past tnree or four years. Many friends will remember with great pleasure the many oustanding efforts of musical and elocutionary work they have given from time to time. They have been called from the Napier Corps to fill a new position having to do with musical work of the Salvation Army throughout New Zealand. Their work in Napier has been most marked in its successful results in its social, moral and spiritual aspects. People in Hastings desire to share in the farewelling of these splendid workers, and we invite everybody to come and participate.
