The team to represent England on June 29 in the second cricket test against South Africa will be selected from the following R. E. S. Wyatt (Warwick). N. S. Mitchell-Innes (Oxford). IL Sutcliffe (Yorkshire). M. Leyland (Yorkshire). H. Verity (Y'orkshire). W. R. Hammond (Gloucester). L. E. G. Ames (Kent). M. S. Nicholls (Essex), E. W. Clark (Northants). J. I>. Mitchell (Derbyshire). James Langridge (Sussex). —. Farrimond (Lancashire, wicketkeeper). There has been an infusion of new blood in the Test side, the selectors having decided to replace Robins, Peebles, Bowes and Smith, who were chosen in the 12 for the first Test, with Clark, Mitchell, Langridge and Farrimond.
