Father Finds Son Dead BULLET ENTERS HEAD 'By Telegraph—Press Association.* WANGANUI, June 24. The body of Max Ernest Carter, aged 18, son of Mr. E. W. E. Carter, stationmaster at Wanganui, was found beside a fence on a farm at Turakina last night. ’There was a rifle beside the body, this leading to the assumption that the youth was accidentally killed while getting through the fence. The victim had been at the Turakina beach with his father, but left in the afternoon to do some shooting. As be failed to return at dusk a search commenced. The father found the body. While rabbit-shooting Mr. Gordon Harold Williams, aged 25, residing at Tuapeka West, died from a shot accidentally discharged from his pea rifle.
