Main Events at Mentone MELBOURNE, June 19. The Mentone races were held to-day. the principal event resulting:— JUNE HANDICAP METRO 7.1 (Percival) 1 Epigram (N.Z.) 8.11 (Skidmore) .. 2 Ruling Light 7.6 (Olsen) 3 Nine started, including Senegal and Gold Bag. Won by two lengths, third back a length. Time, 1.43. Wurlitzer was unplaced in the Trial Hurdles. Night Club and North Cape were unplaced in the Two-Year-Old Handicap.

Victoria Park Meeting

SYDNEY, June 19. At Victoria Park races to-day Gladewood was third in the first division of the Flying Handicap. Tea Fight was second in the second division. Lanijinski was unplaced in the first division of the Nursery Handicap. Cockpen w’as unplaced in the first division of the Encourage Handicap. Limbohm and Antique were unplaced in the Victoria Park Handicap.
