Offering of Dairy Herd
The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd will hold a dispersal sale of the dairy herd of Mr E. A. Orbell, Pakowhai, who is relinquishing dairying. The sale will be held on Monday next, June 24, at 11.30 a.m., on the farm. The stock to be offered comprises 70 Jersey cross cows, 12 of these are in milk one month, and the balance in calf to a pedigree Freisian bull, and are due to calve to factory dates. There are also 7 pedigree Freisian bulls. This herd has been heavilyculled, has been under Government T.B. test for the last three years, and town suppliers should find this an excellent opportunity of securing tested stock and fresh winter calvers.
