BRISBANE’S NEW BRIDGE

To Cost £1,154,000 FIRST SOD~TURNED (Received 25, 1.10 p.m.) BRISBANE, May 25. The Premier, Rt. Hon. Forgan Smith, turned the first sod for the Jubilee bridge over Brisbane river at Kangaroo Point. The work is to cost £1,154,000, and will occupy four years. It will be the second largest bridge in Australia.
