FAREWELL PARTY
Miss Susie Cousins Honoured
MAP.AEKAKAHO FUNCTION Miss Susie Cousins, who leaves shortly for Melbourne, was specially honoured at a happy gathering given last week by her Bible class at Mareakakaho. The hall was very attractively decorated for the occasion and the guests were received by the hostess, Mrs Brown, whose gown was of red and white patterned ninon. The guests each wore fancy drees representing the name of a book and later in the evening a competition was held when everyone guessed the mime of the books represented. Games and musical competitions passed the evening most delightfully and a tempting tupper served during the evening was enjoyed by all. Miss Cousins, whose frock represented “The Harvester,” was presented with a charming posy by Miss Annie McKinnon and on behalf of the Bible class, Mr Brown asked her to accept a beaut; , vl marble clock. His neat speech conveyed to her the good wishes of all present. Those present were:—Mrs. Brown,
