South Africa, Surrey, in their first innings, were dismissed for 266, and South Africa, who made 367 in their first innings, had compiled 178 for two wickets at the close of play. Good bowling, wicket-keeping and fielding by the South Africans subdupd the Surrey batsmen. Fishlock, however, batted brightly to hit eleven fours. For South Africa, Siedle and Nourse, as a partnership, were again resourceful and enterprising and defied changes in the bowling. Details:— SURREY. First Innings. The Australian Board of control agreed that the Marylebone cricket team to tour New Zealand in 1935-36 should play matches in Australia before the team goes to New Zealand. The New Zealand body will receive live per cent, of the profits.
