Miss Dorothy Clarke, Napier, is the guest of Mrs Theo Barker, Salisbury street Christchurch.
Miss P. Vincent, Havelock North, is the guest of Mr and Mrs Hugh Kiesling, Palmerston North.
Mrs J. Leggat and family arrived in Hastings from New Plymouth during the week-end and will reside here in future.
Airs W. Bird, Hurford road. New Plymouth, is spending a holiday in Napier and in Hie surrounding districts.
Mr and Mrs J. Jenkins. Napier, returned home from Auckland on Monday.
Mrs Eric Mabin, Palmerston North, with her children are staying with Airs H. Speedy, Takapau road, AVaipukurau
Mrs I. W. N. Mackie, Waipukurau, accompanied by her two sons and her neice, Miss Ida Hooper, left on Monday for Wellington.
Mrs H. McLean and family, Gisborne, arrived in Waipukurau during tho week-end to stay with Airs McLean’s father, Mr J. E. Reid.
Mrs G. Hunter and family, St. John ’e Hill, Wanganui, accompanied by Miss E. Duigan, T.owcr Hutt, are spending the term holiday' with Airs Paul Hun tor, Porangahau.
Mr and Mrs J. Stickland and Mrs W. H. White, Hastings, have returned from AVellington. where they farewelled Mrs C. Apperley. who sailed for England by the Rangitnta. «• * • .Airs Al. Crawshaw. Coogee. New South Wales, who has been on a threemonths tour of the South Island, is now visiting friends in Napier after upending a fortnight as tho guest of Mrs P, Dolbcl, senr., Redflyffe.
