INVITATION DANCE

Rissington Evening Through tho kind invitation of Mi and Mrs J. H. Absolom to their friends to meet their son and daugbter-in-law, a most enjoyable and successful dance was held in the Rissington Hall last Friday evening. The hall was nicely decorated with red. white and blue streamers hanging from the ceiling, with greenery in the body of the hall. The pretty dresses of the dancers made a picture which will long be remembered. About 180 guests were present and were met nt the entrance to tho hall by Mr and Mrs J. H. Absolom, who introduced them to Mr and Mrs Richard Absolom, who were recently married, and they looked a very charming couple. The music was supplied by Mr Les Henry’s orchestra. During the evening Mr Dobson played the bagpipes, which brought forth rounds of applause. A sumptuous supper was provided, and “Auld Lang Syne” and “God Save tho King” were sung.
