WEDDING

T weedie—Nikolaison

The wedding of Alabel Ivy NTkolaison, eldest daughter ot Air and Airs Olaf Nikolaisen, to Frederick Martin Tweedie, of Tc Ohu, took place in Hie Gospel Hall, South Norsewood, on Wednesday. Air G. E. Dann, of Napier, officiated. An address was given by Air Hyde, of Feilding, and Air Boult, of Wellington, played the Wedding March.

The hall was beautifully decorated in green and gold, and a large floral bell was suspended above the bride and bridegroom. The bride looked very pretty in a beautiful dress of ivory velvet, with train and orange blossom. She wore a lovely veil of Brussels net, which had been her mother’s veil, and carried a handsome bouquet of white and gold flowers, with autumn leaves. The bridesmaids were Misses Eunice Nikolaison (sister), C. Tweedie (sister of bridegroom), and 1,. Fountain (cousin of bride). They were dressed in green and gold, and carried bouquets of autumn flowers. The bridegroom was attended by two of his brothers, Alesnsrs S. and A. Tweedie, and Mr, R Bishop, cousin of the bride.

The wedding breakfast was held in tho institute hall, which was also decorated in green and gold, with a horseshoe of white flowers above the bridal table. Over 100 guests were entertained by Air and AD* (). Nikolai, son. The handsome wedding cake was made by the bride’s aunt, Airs Willie Bishop, of Atarton. After the usual speeches and toasts, the bride and bridegroom left by car for the south, where the honeymoon will be spent. In the evening Air and Airs Olaf Nikolaison entertained a large number of guests at their residence in Ormondville, the many useful and ornamental presents being on view
