Taradale and Clive Draw GOOD JUNIOR MATCH Taradale and Clive drew with a score of nine-all at Taradale on Saturday, before a crowd of something like 800 people. Clive kicked off, and shortly afterwards Smith, of Clive, picked up from the loose and tricked his way through the opposition, lie passed to Nesbitt, who knocked on, and Farquhar took the play hack to the halfway line, From a half-way scrum, Anderson ran up, but delayed his pass to J’lested, and Scanlon regained much nt the ground that was lost, bringing
the half-time score to Taradale 3, Clive nil. The pace was very fast, and the spectators had many exciting moments, and soon after the resumption of play Smith went along the side-line and gave Bliss an opportunity. Nesbitt failed with his kick, making, the score Taradale three, Clive three. Soou afterwards M. Smith scored another three points for the, home side. Subsequent scores by Lister and H. Smith brought the scores to Taradale 9 Clive 9 Mr J. Fulford refereed. JUNIORS There was a good match between Clive and Port, which Clive won by eight points to nil. Clive’s points w’ere scored by Campbell (two tries) and Boyce (conversion). Mr R, Jones was the referee
