Ladies’ Golf Club Meeting WAIPAWA, March 15 The annual general meeting of the Waipawa Ladies’ Golf Club was held in the Council Ateeting Room on Thursday night. The club captain, Airs , Strang, was in the chair and presided I over a good attendance of members. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted. The election of officers for 1935 resulted as follows:— Patroness, Airs McHardy; president, Airs J. Clark, vice-presidents, Airs 11. Limbrick, Airs 11. M. Rathbone; captain, Mrs Strang; secretary, Aliss D'Emden; committee, Mesdanies Bishop and Edwards, Alisscs Rathbone, Witherow and Beck. On the motion of Aliss Witherow, seconded by Airs Woods, it was resolved that the ladies eater for four all-day matches. LODGE CONFERENCE. • I’he U.S. Sister E. Pellow, E.S. Bro. .1. Bosley, N.G. Bro. J. Kirk, and J’.G.s Bros. 11. VV. Gallagher and E. C. Kingston arc representing the Loyal Abbotsford Lodge at the Manchested Unit} District Conference at present being held in Wairoa. FOOTBALL ULI B. The Waipawa United Football Club acknowledge with thanks the receipt of a donation from “Anonymous.’’
