Fortnightly Meeting Held I’lie fortnightly meeting of the Napier branch of the DX 'Club was held in the club rooms, Herd’s buildings, Carlyle street, on Tuesdav evening. Several matters of importance were satisfactorily dealt with ami the “Lone Star” and “Elimination” competition details were thoroughly dis 1 cussed and decided upon. Mr C. R. Lawrence gave a very inter esting address on the stations to be listened to during March. Having studied the mailer < os-lv the lecturer v.as aole to give much interesting in st ruction, which members listened tn with absorption. Several prm-licallv unknown stations were located. Mr Lawrence, at the close of hitalk, answe’ed numerous questions ami received a hearty- vote of thanks. For the future expansion of the branch it was decided to accept Mr fan F Baird’s oiler ami remove the club rooms to a more central portion "f the town. T’ie m w rooms will be at th.- rear of the premises occupied by the Napier Radio Go., in Dickens street (op]., the 11.8. I’armers’) whore all interested callers will be cordiallv welcomed and the aims of the club explained to I hem. ’
