OBITUARY
Mr. W. E. Gladstone The death occurred yesterday in Dunedin of Air William Ewart Gladstone, who retired 18 months ago. lie was registrar of electors for the Parliamentary constituencies that embrace Dunedin and its neighbourhood. lie previously served in the head office of the Registrar-General’s department-, his appointment in this department dating from 1924. Previously he was in the Health Department. He retired in October of 1933.
