Waitara Child Succumbs By Telegraph—Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Jan. 8. Kicked in the abdomen by a horse at Waitara on Monday, Francis Norman Whitehead, aged three, died in the New Plymouth hospital to-night. The child suffered severe internal injuries which necessitated an operation, from wMich he did not recover. He was the son of Mr A. R. Whitehead, of Waitara
