SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

: Subject io the approval of the Minister the Napier Secondary Education Board decided at its meeting last night to accede to the request of the principal of the Boys’ High School, Mr W. T. Foster, that the school should be closed on the Friday between Show Day and Labour Day. The decision applies also t'o the Girls’ High School. In making his request to the board, Mr Foster said that the Show Day and Labour Day holidays followed each other so very closely.
