.... - J — Three Motorists Killed

SYDNEY, Sept 18

Three men were killed to-day when an empty coal train crashed into a motor lorry at the level crossing at. Cessnock, near Maitland.

The victims were: Eric Darcy and Clyde Darcy, and Archibald Gracie. A fourth man, Hugh Moffatt, had a miraculous escape. He leapt from the lorry just before the locomotive struck it. He was unhurt and went to the assistance of his companions, finding their remains among the ruins of the vehicle some distance along tho railway.
