C. Purdy, State chess champion, defeated G. Koshnitsky, Australian champion, in their ten-game match. At the end of the ninth game t’urdy is lending with four wins and three draws to Koshnitsky’s two wins and three draws. Thus the tenth game cannot affect the result of the match.
