Auckland University Support LESSON FROM THE SOUTH ißy Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Sept. 18 “Coming from these places, I have been filled with envy,’’ said the president of the Auckland University College, Mr Kennth MacKcnzie, in speaking at a council meeting yesterday of the public support accorded the university colleges in the southern centres. He admired the university spirit manifest in Dunedin, as shown in the support of the medical school and the provision of student hostels. Weir Hostel for students at Victoria College he described as a splendid building set in one of the most glorious sites in the city.
