Miss N. Gleeson, Wellington, is spending her holidays in Napier, and is the guest of Mrs. William Nelson, Hospital Hill. The friends of Mrs. A. H. Partridge, of Pepper street, Hastings, will learn with regret that her father passed away on Saturday and that her return from Canterbury is postponed indefinitely. « • # Mrs J. Rice, Mrs Rice and Miss Mary Rice, of Waipukurau, left by car tlo-day lor Auckland on a visit to relatives and friends.
