NAPIER CLUB’S RACE WON BY J. E. V. MAXWELL. The Napier Homing Pigeon Club held a flock race from Masterton on Saturday, the distance being 123 miles. The results were as follow: — J. E. V. Maxwell’s Winsome, 1849.21 yards per minute .. .. 1 J. E. V. Maxwell’s Parson, 1840.80 yards per minute 2 J. E. V. Maxwell’s Cocky, 1843.99 yards per minue 3 A. Greenaway’s Rusty, 1840.55 yards per minute 4 A. Greenaway’s Joey, 1837.19 yards per minute 5 A. Greenaway’s Blackberry, 1832.04 yards per minuteC There were 41 competitors.
