HARRIER RACING
TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA ENDEAVOUR TO BE MADE. By Telegraph—Press Association DUNEDIN, September 15. At the annual New Zealand conference of the harriers, the delegates decided that an endeavour be made for a New Zealand cross-country team to visit Australian States next year and compete in the Australian championships; that next season’s marathon be held under the control of the West Coast of the North Island Centre; that the next New Zealand cross-country championship be held at Wellington. A Canterbury remit to separate the control of cross-country running from the New Zealand Athletic Association and form a New Zealand cross-country association was lost.
