Wellington Accident

A spectacular collision between two trams occurred in Wellington late this afternoon opposite Government Buildings, both trams being fairly badly damaged, but although one was full ot passengers no ono was injured. Thu collision was caused by a fault in tbu automatic puinf-chauging. A tram bound For Karori was turning up Molesworth street when the points slipped back before the rear bogey had passed. The back of the tram slewed round in the direction of Lambton Station, and while it was moving it was struck by another tram coming from the station.
