OLYMPIC BOXING
Progress of the Sport WIDENED POPULARITY SHOWN World-Wide Interest Created Boxing in five weight-divisions was first introduced in the programme of the modern Olympic Games in 1908. ft was omitted in 1912, but reinstated, with additional weight-classes, in 1920. A glance uver the results to date is interesting because of its revelation ot the progress of boxing in countries where the sport was in little favour not so many years ago.
