SCHOOL COMMITTEE MEETING. From Our Own Correspondent. ONGAONGA, September 13. The usual monthly meeting of the Ongaonga School Committee was held in tbe school on Monday evening, Mr E. Bibby presiding. Messrs Baker and Spackman were granted leave of absence. Accounts totalling £ll were passed for payment. It was decided to obtain dents tor the window ropes. The headmaster, Mt J. F. Bell, was authorised to obtain full particulars concerning the proper lonvred box to hold the weather-recording instruments. The floor of tho girls’ shelter shed is to be repaired. The headmaster reported that the roll had readied 70. There were still a few absentees due to measles, but otherwise the attelidaneo had been good.
