TAKAPAU NOTES
COMING ST. MARK’S PARISH BALL. From Our Own Correspondent. TAKAI’AU, September 12. A meeting of the general committee was held in the library recently to further the interests of St. Mark’s parish ball to be held on Wednesday, October 3. in the Takapau Town Hall. Good progress was made and by the enthusiasm shown the success of the ball is assured. Sub-committees were appointed to carry out various duties in connection with the ball. The following ladies are requested to meet in lhe library next Monday afternoon to make final arrangements regarding the supper:—Mesdumes A E. Bayliss, G. Livingstone, C. H. St Hill, H. Vaughan, E F Stubbs. K. T. Dampney 11 Hobson, C Ponse. Misses A, and P. Ellis, P. and M. Cato J, Speedy, E and J. Hobson, T. Hawkins, E. Pease, H. Gloyne, 8. White and Colridge. Mrs W. T. Smith will be in charge of the decorations.
