PLUNKET SOCIETY MEETING

From Our Own Correspondent. TAKAPAU, September 11

The monthly meeting of the Takapau sub-branch of the Plunket Society was held yesterday afternoon at the Rest Rooms, Takapau, Mrs N. M. Paulsen presiding.

After the routine business had been attended to Mrs J. Hobson, president of the Waipukurau branch, gave a very interesting resume of the business that had been transacted at the Dominion Plunket conference recently held in Wellington. After her address Mrs Hobson was accorded a hearty vote of thanks, moved by the president, and was en tertained by the members at afternoon tea.
