Exchequer Return to Date (British Official Wireless.) (Received 22, 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, Aug. 21. The Exchequer return of receipts and expenditure during the current financial year to August 18 shows that, excluding self-balancing items, the total ordinary revenue and I<‘ eipts lor last week amounted to £12,907,885 and the total ordinary expenditure to £8,527,764. Income tax collected during the week amounted to £2,6(11,001) and Customs and excise represented £9,403,000 of the total. The yield of ordinary revenue for the financial year to date is £218,005,371, compared with £222,320,767 collected in the corresponding period of the previous year. Ordinary expenditure to date is £261,547,334, compared with £260,974,995.
