Hitler Thanks the Nation FIGHT FOR THE PEOPLE (Received 21. 12.30 p.m.) BERLIN, Aug. 20. Herr Hitler, in u proclamation, thanks the nation ami the Nazi parly for the victorious plebiscite, and declares that the fight lor power has ended, hut the fight for the. people will continue until the lust German has been converted to Nazism. Herr Hitler thanked the Blomberg Reichswehr lor their oath of fealty and assures them of his maintenance of the inviolability of armed forces. Revised provisional lilial figures OU the Hitler plebiscite are:— Yes 38,362.780 No 4.3W.654 Invalid 872.21)6 Abstentions 2,031,816 As the abstainers are presumably against Herr Hitler and the majority of the invalid votes were papers deliberately spoiled, apparently over 7,000,000 disapprove of Herr Hitler.
