Departure From Brisbane TEAM FOR TO-MORROW By Telegraph— Press Assn.—Copyright BRISBANE, August 20. Looking sunburnt after their day under the warm sun on Moreton Buy yesterday, and with their arms full of pineapples and custard apples—two luscious fruits grown extensively in Queensland—the All Blacks were given a happy farewell this morning. Mr Geddes said: “We have had a wonderful time and are sorry indeed to leave Queensland. If New Zealand does not win the Test on Saturday it will not be for want of fitness, as the glorious Queensland sunshine has benefited every member of the team.” Manchester, Hore, King, Hadley, Hart, Page, Caughey and Corner will go right through to Sydney. The rest of the party will stay over at Newcastle for Wednesday’s match. This move is regarded as a wise one. All but Corner and Hadley arc regarded as certainties for the Test side. Hadley is unlikely to be fit. The team 'to play Newcastle will bo: Full-back: Collins. Three-quarters: Holder, Smith, Bul-lock-Douglas. Five-eighths: Oliver, Lilburne Half-back: Kilby. Forwards: Mataira, Lambourne, Leeson. Knight, Max, McLean, Barrv. Mahoney. rteserves: Griffiths, -McKenzie. Mataira is being tried in the front row.
