IRISH BLUE SHIRTS
Urge Farmers Not to Pay
(Received 20. 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 19.
The “Daily Mail’s” Dublin correspondent says that the Blue Shirts’ congress has concluded. A resolution was passed asking farmers not to pay land annuities in future, as they are paying twice during the economic war.
Six Blue Shirts and five others were injured when a thousand attacked an hotel owned by Patrick Hughes, who recently was released from a military prison.
