The young Auckland Rugby team made au improved showing against Wairarapa at Edeu Park to-day in a fast, even game ending in a draw, 19 all. Both teams played attractive football, but llio Wairarapa forwards outlasted their lighter opponents. The Wairarapa forwards attacked strongly at the start, but a lightning break by Frankham nearly brought Auckland a try, Finlayson slipping. The play swept up and down the field at a fast pace until Murdoch sent, the Auckland backs away.
