ESSAY COMPETITION

-• ♦ No-More War Movement

The fourth annual Peace Essay competition which has been organised bj the Napier branch of the No-More-War Movement in accordance with the. rules of the Eusviu Trust, promises to be an even greater success than in previous years. The competition is open to all Public schools in Hawke’s Bay, aud has one definite objective, that of inculcating an enthusiasm for peace in the nunds of the children.

The committee are again favoured with the services of Mr T. A. Morland, senior inspector of schools, who ba» consented to act as judge. The names o! the prize-winners will be announced us soon as possible. Entries closed on August 18, and all essays should be in the hands of the secretary, Mr E. Sear, c/p Post Office, Meeanee, at once.
