CHURCH SERVICES

At St. Matthew's Church, Hastings, to-morrow, there will be Holy Communion at 7 a.m. and 8 a.m., also Holy Communion at 7.30 a.m. at Mahora School. Mattias and sermon at St. Matthew’s will be at 11 a.m., Holy Baptism at 3 p.m., and evensong at 7 p.m. There will also be an evening service at St. Barnabas’, Parkvale, at 7 o’clock, and a service at Twyford School at 2 p.m. ,

The services at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Market street, will be conducted by the Rev. Geo. Miller. His subject at 11 a.m. will be: ’‘Transformation”; and at 7 p.m. a character sketch, “Jacob.” The anthem at 11 a.m. will be: “The Lord will be a Refuge,” and at 7 p.m. “Te Deum” (Jackson). A solo will be rendered by Mrs. McKay, “Abifle with Me.”

To-morrow's service at the Presbyterian Church, Haumoana, will be held in the afternoon (2.30 p.m.). Tho preacher will be the Rev. E. H. Kedgley. All visitors and residents in the district are cordially invited to attend.

The Rev. Ray Dudley, M.A., F.R.E.S., the Indian preacher, occupies the pulpit in the Hastings Methodist Church tomorrow for services at 11.0, 3.0 and 7.0. The afternoon service is specially for youth, but all will be welcome. The Rev. R. Dudley comes with a high reputation as an outstanding preacher and all who attend will enjoy’ these bright, hearty services.

At the Baptist Church, Karamu road south, the Rev. C. B. Boggis will con duet both services to-morrow. The sub ject of the morning address will be “Yet Many Things,” a study in the Continual Revelation. For tho evening service Mr. Boggis’s topic is entitled “Christ and Our Sin Problem.” The Ordinance of the Lord’s Supper will follow the evening service. A very hearty invitation is extended to every body to join in the worship at these bright gatherings. The choir will be heard in Anthems. At 6 p.m. the hospital service will be held.

The usual Sunday evening service in the Nelson Street Hall to-morrow will be conducted by Mr. A. Christensen, of the North Island Bible carriage. The service at the Stortford Lodge I Interdenominational Mission Hall on | Sunday bveniqg will be conducted by i Mr. 11. 11. Burns. All those interested I are cordially invited to come along and I bring a friend. Everybody welcome, i There will be the usual bright singing lite services at the Salvation Army Citadel, Warren street, Hastings, tomorrow will be conducted bv the young people’s workers, E. Sawyer and S. Plumley. at 11 a.m., and local officers "ill lead at 7 p.m. Commandant Cook "ill conduct service at 6.30 at Whakatti. The subject of the address in the United Hall Hastings, on Sunday night is ‘"Peace on Earth: To iw through Jesus Christ returned and not through the League ol Nations or any other human agency.” All interested are welcome. Ihe Sacrament of the Lord's Suppei will be dispensed at the close of the forenoon service at the Havelock North Presbyterian serviei-. The Rev.
