Australia’s Population (Received 2. 10.35 a.m.) CANBERRA, Aug t Figures made available by the Commonwealth Statistician show that in the first six months of this year 2XIB persons of British nationality left Australia not intending to return, while the population was permanently increased by the arrival of 513 Italians, 65 Poles, 57 Greeks. 31 Yugo-Slavs, 20 Frenchmen and 13 Cactho-Slovc-kians.
