Airships in Near Future CAPTAIN ECKENER’S PLANS (Received 9, 11.30 a m.) LONDON, April 8Captain Eckener told the ‘‘Sunday Chronicle” that the airship, jyill become in the no distant future as natural and usual as railways. “We are planning routes, crossing oceans end continents to link up cities in every corner of the world,” he said, “including a regular weekly service between Europe and South America and a ten-day service between America and India.”
