H.B. RUGBY UNION

Sub-Union Nominations The Rugby Union has received nominations from four sub-unions for representation on the parent body. These nominations will be considered at the annual general meeting of the union to be held in Napier to-morrow. The nominations received are as follow :—

Wairoa Sub-union: Mr Charles Me. Lean, who wue a referee in Napier last season. Dannevirke Sub-union: Mr L. Harris, present trainer of the Hawke’s Bay senior representatives. East Coast Sub-union: Mr Bert Grenside, former Hawke’s Bay and New Zealand representative. Central Hawke’s Bay Sub-union: Mr A. Kirkpatrick, who occupied the position of delegate last year. No nomination has .yet been received from the Hastings Sub-union. With the exception of Central Hawke's Bay all nominees, if elected, will be newcomers to the union. •
