13-Pointer Moose Shot in South MR. E. J. HERRICK’S SECOND BAG Bv Telegraph—Press Association INVERCARGILL, April 2. The second moose 13-pointcr to bo shot in New Zealand and probably in the Southern Hemisphere, was secured a few days ago by Mr E. J. Herrick, of Hastings, who also obtained the first in April, 1929. This second moose, which was shot, in the same block at the head of Dusky Souud as the first, was in fair condition and possessed antlers with a spread of 36 inches. Tho head weighed 80 lbs., and considerable difficulty was experienced in bringing it through the dense undergrowth. Mr. Herrick was accompanied by Mr J, Muir, ef WtngMui, as juidf.
