GATHERING AT TIKOKINO SUCCESSFUL ANNUAL MEETING LARGE CROWD ATTENDS 1“ rom Our Own Correspondent. WAIPUKURAU. March 31. Tikokino’s sport® and rodeo held on the Tikokino sports ground to-day proved a. great success and the club has every reason to feel well satisfied with its entries, the attendance and the financial outcome. A novel event that aroused consid erable interest wa*? a rodeo in the nature of a steer-riding contest. This provided a great deal of amusement, and caused great excitement at times. It was an interesting event and the club is to be congratulated on adding yet another phase to a very fine sports programme.
